Emo is a short version for a word „emotional”. This is considered to be a person-punk with an unusually sensitive soul and emotions. Actually the word emo indicates on a music style that was popular in eighties – it’s a mix of punk music and hardcore. It’s a new way of expressing yourself with emotions and also dressing style. Emo people have dark or even black hair that covers one side of their face. There can be added some other colours to make the assimetric haircut more personal. They are usually pretty shy people and this helps to hide the shyness. These boys and girls usually have a facial piercing and a touch of a dark eyeliner. They wear tight jeans and belts and also T-shirts with the names of rock bands. These people are a lot like goths but their feelings are easier to notice. Even on Internet it’s easy to spot an Emo-their nickname would include something about sadness or emotions.
People state that they didn’t chose to be Emo – that’s just the way they are. They try to convince that not all of them are suidical or like to cut themselves, they are just a little more emotional than other people and are not afraid to show it. Emo people express their feelings by writing poems full of sadness and even anger showing that nobody understands them and even the whole world is against them.
